From now on..well supposedly until school starts, I'm gonna be keeping on this schedule...hopefully I can improve a bit so I don't get totally screwed once school starts...lol

Sidenote: been listening to Michael Jackson. He was some rreeaallll talent. I think he'll continue to inspire countless people. I've never known him much before his death except for all those scandals, but now that I've known him I realized what a treasure we've lost. R.I.P Michael Jackson, hope he's in heaven.
lol....gotta adjust to this new found obsession with MJ....and also...I think I'm being blackwashed....

Canada Day

It really wasn't that exciting for some reason. It makes me feel unpatriotic lol.
Anyway, woke up in the morning to mom complaining about how my room looks like a dumpster site etc. Also looking through my pile of 'to be thrown away' stuff and scolding me, and around that time, Matt and Uncle Ray arrived to pick me up (saved me!).
We got to Oshawa, Uncle Ray made us waffles, and I was eating it with the whipped cream that tasted sooooo good. Anyway...for the rest of the day Matt and I just kind of sat around and watched Michael Jackson stuff...like his movie Moonwalker (which was ridiculous). For dinner we had barbecue hamburgers and hot dogs...it was good. Afterwards we decided to walk down by the lake shore to see fireworks, Luke and his girlfriend came with us (awww...young love..so cuteee). It was quite a walk, and when we got there the fireworks was just ending...so Matt took me down to the pier to sit on the rocks by the ocean. It was great and all...but then within two minutes of us sitting down we got attacked by mosquitoes. We couldn't stand it anymore so we left. We were deciding how to walk back when we saw the Canada Day buses so we got on, it took us to some parking lot and Matt called Uncle Ray to pick us up. Anyway, after we got home we pretty much just packed and got ready to leave. I got back home at around 1..yeaa....

Not very exicitng day but it was quite cheery...quite cheery indeed except for the mosquito bites).

I really should set some time to read books (including the Bible), expand my knowledge and perspective a bit. I am so young, and there is so much to learn, so much to do. I need to try my very best to do what I can to achieve my dream, do the work that I am destined to do, and most important of all, never forget God who created this world, me and all that I have.

The Wonders of Downtown (Part I)

Woke up really really really early in the morning (7:30a.m. I think) to get ready to go to school with mom. She especially told me to dress nicely and be all dazzling so she can show me off. Eric on the other hand was a different story. His hair was like a bird nest, and I doubt that he washed his face....

Anyways...got to school got paraded around by mom with the "ooohh"s and "aaahhh"s. The students in her class was staring at me too like this: o_o

At 9a.m. ish the class and us got on the bus and such to get ready to go downtown. The bus ride was about an hour or so. We got there just in time to catch the 10:30a.m. ferrie.

Every adult was assigned a group of students, and so I was assigned to a couple of girls who are kind of like...just on their own, so while they ran around going on rides and managing themselves....I sat down and took pictures while being visited by some swans (are they swans? they look kinda...fat and clumsy)

So yesterday was pretty interesting.

There was some sort of mini farm area, I looked around there and found donkeys, two pigs who are trying to get to each other, and peacocks. I don't know why they're there lol.

The kids played around for a few hours, and then after we got ready to head back to the ferrie dock. On the way we met two men with a baby who were very rude to my mom for some stupid reason and was all swearing at her (while the students and their own baby was around) they also told her to "go back to China you fucking Chinese". So that was not nice. And then after when we found them on the same ferrie as us another teacher tried to talk to them about it they told her to learn how to dress before talking to them...so that was not very nice either. All the kids were talking about planning about beat up those two lol. It makes me laugh though, I wish I got it on camera so I can post it on Youtube.

When we got off the ferrie, I found Matt sitting right at the exit waiting for me as we planned. He met up with us, we said farewells and went on our way to explore downtown yyayy! Her students were all staring...bet they never seen a sight like Matt and I before lol. Afterwards though I found out from my mom that they all thought I was so cool and stuff and thought my mom was so cool to for accepting so it's all good hehe.

Pacific Mall and Sugar Rice Cakes

Fine day at Pacific Mall today.

We got to go to Curry's and buy sketchbooks that have poor, unsmooth paper. We also got to buy arizona (best cheap can drink in the world in my opinion)bread and sugar rice cakes which are like..the best desert in the world...seriously.

We explored the place row by row and looked at many clothing stores that carry cheap clothes from China with jacked up prices yyayyyy!!!

Afterwards we went to "Splendid China Tower". The translation is totally wrong by the way because there was no "tower" neither in the building or in its Chinese name. On the way there I saw a sign for Miliken Mills Flea Market....I didnt know there's a flea market in Markham...cool.
Anyway, in this "Splendid China Tower" (a much more....empty place than Pacific Mall) Matt bought me a dress that can be wore as a long skirt or a strapless dress. It's all colorful and pretty and has a nice summe-ish bohemian feel to it. It's the first time he bought me something so I'm all like "aaawwwwwwwwww"

Afterwards we went back to Pacific, (I bought sugar rice cakes again..I think I'm addicted) I met up with a few people from YorkBBS to get clothes/shoes.

Finally we had to walk to Unionville Go Station (which took an hour because my mom need to walk for someone to come to our house....she said it was "romantic hiking"....hmm..it was kinda romantic lol). We saw two beavers in front of Miliken Mills Community Center...cuuttee

Today was a very fulfilling day...even though technically I got nothing done.
Thanks again for the skirt/shirt thing Matt!

By the way......the benches at Pacific Mall are disgusting..

Sunday Baptism

Today was Baptism Day at church...I was the pianist for the day. It was very joyful watching people affirm their faith and telling stories of their journey from unbelieving to believing.
Amongst these eight people getting baptized, there was this 40 something year old man. His daughter is a part of my sunday class. He dressed like a gangster...lol.....what do you know..he used to be a gangster! He said, he has done all sorts of bad things, but now feels that he finally understands how he should live his life and has changed.

Lol....God has done all sorts of miracles, and he will continue to do them throught us.

I felt like my piano was carrying out the song of our hearts while I was playing....the songs had very nice melodies..sometimes I couldn't help but sing along, especially "最知心的朋友" a song rich with Chinese melody.

Afterwards, some dude who was a friend of a baptized dude came up to me and said my playing was very nice and gentle....lol..........I didn't know him so I was like..."uhh............thanks......" and ran away. I caught him looking at me a few times...was he trying to hit on me......

anyway......music is the sound of love. Lol

雨后的彩虹

今天7点多的时候下了场大雨..下的好大...风也大.

但是过了不久...乌云后面的太阳最终还是跑回来了...而且把美丽的彩虹也带来了.

雷雨闪电过后是灿烂的新天地啊...
第一次见到这么清楚, 完整的彩虹. 世界是如此的美妙, 我是如此地渺小. 天上的那位是多么的伟大.

而我那不争气的相机竟然出乎意料的近完美地帮我记下了这一切...hehe...幸运哦

Excuse the bad blurry pictures my camera sssssuuuuuuuuucccccckkkkssss...

So....yea.....Matt came over the other day...and he made breakfast...toast and eggs yum yum...but it was like......so late it was kind of ridiculous...oh well..I've been living on such a sinfully unhealthy life schedule lol.

Anyway we had a photoshoot session thing for my clothes..cuz I'm poor and I'm planning to try to sell some of the clothes that no one ever wears anymore on my Chinese forum....don't know how that will turn out...but it was fun...kind of...maybe...I was raging cuz my stupid camera is so stupid I say it's stupid and it's stupiiiiiddd. It takes in screwed up lighting, and makes things look screwed up so its screwed upp...

As for my life...I need to get going on a lot of stuff, like getting some money, getting a job, lose some weights (Matt hates me cuz I'm fat), get better at drawing, piano, soccer, and singing, definitely singing.

About this "Project Lychee" thing. Lol.....it was just a random name that popped in my head..but now I guess it's being used......or is it until we have a better name. But anyways...Matt and I decide to do a group/duo thing and work on some art projects. This is because I am very lazy and I need someone/something to force me to work. I don't know about daily blogs...I definitely won't be writing so much...but I think there's going to be like "Picture of the Day" thing.

Weekend at Home

So I got my portfolio score...and now I feel better. I'm so close.. just 0.03 points away. It has given me new hope. Thank you G.

So begins the last month of living in Oakville. I will try to make the most of it.
Summer is just 30 or so days away.

Will definitely start training (hard) for drawing/CG.
Also needed is a nice job for the summer.

BTW this is my first every CG that's actually submittable. I'm very proud of it. Once again I feel compel to say that this is not I repeat..not a Japanese outfit, but Chinese fashion style around the ancient Qin dynasty

So my first post is not so happy.

It's mainly due to the fact that this week has been very bleh. Drawing and painting and taking care of Kiki has actually been keeping me from shooting my own head.
Although it's not the end of the world, it still upsetting. Very very very upsetting.
Guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up...

On a separate note though, quite excited to get this blog started. Hopefully I will remember to update this often...relying on this to document my life from now on...kind of...
